Receptionist / Sales Support

BACKGROUND

To work within our busy sales environment to undertake vehicle specifications and office duties to help manage the company’s stock turnover and assist the sales team when required.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Answer, screen and transfer incoming calls, updating the CRM with basic details obtained from customer
  • Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately. Also offer either hot drinks, cold drinks and snacks and maintaining supplies
  • Enter and upload vehicles to company website
  • Manage third party website and remove old stock
  • Book in new stock when it arrived at site on the website
  • Manage data on the CRM system including pricing with accounts
  • Shipping lists and informing customers of shipment details
  • Provide cover for Sales & Stock Administrator when needed
  • Manage website online chat to support the sales team
  • Work with marketing in producing content for social media
  • Receive and sort mail/deliveries/couriers
  • Assist the sales team with paperwork when required
  • Maintain security by following procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, access through gates)
  • Cover the documentation office when holiday is taken
  • Driving licence checks and customer ID for finance deals
  • Ad Hoc duties including ordering uniform, drinks in the office and to the MD

HGV Sales Stock Co-ordinator

BACKGROUND

To work within our busy sales environment to undertake vehicle specifications and office duties to help manage the company’s stock turnover and assist the sales team when required.

THE ROLE

  • Writing vehicle specifications
  • Photographing and videoing vehicles to be loaded onto the website
  • Uploading specs, pictures, and videos on website for holiday cover
  • Help answering inbound customer calls
  • Show customers around vehicles in the yard when they come to view
  • Moving HGV vehicles on premises to assist customers and site maintenance manager
  • Booking stock in – trucks and trailers recording details of where they have been delivered from
  • Stock takes
  • Assist the yard manager ensuring golf buggies are kept to a high standard for customers
  • Deal with customers when necessary to assist the sales team
  • Collecting customers from the airport and train station when necessary
  • Ad-hoc duties

HGV Technician

Due to business growth we are looking for a bright, enthusiastic individual to join our team full time as a HGV Workshop Technician at our site in Sawley.

  • As a HGV Technician you will be based in a busy workshop environment where you will be required to undertake all levels of maintenance and repairs
  • Maintaining and repairing vehicles and trailers in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current legislation
  • Routine vehicle maintenance to VOSA/DVSA standards
  • Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for annual MOT inspection
  • Diagnosis of vehicles using computer based diagnostic equipment
  • Experience of working on wide range of modern heavy commercial vehicles and trailers is ideal and knowledge of electrics and hydraulics would be an advantage
  • Good housekeeping routines to meet health & safety requirements and maintain a safe workplace
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed to a high standard
  • Utilise all personal protective equipment as necessary

Shift Pattern:

  • Shift 1: 9am - 6pm (Mon to Fri) + 8am - 1pm (Sat)
  • Shift 2: 8am - 5pm (Mon to Thurs) + 8am to 1pm (Fri)
  • Overtime is available outside of these hours if desired

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £16.00 per hour and £24.00 per hour for overtime

 

HGV Washer

Due to business growth we are looking for a bright, enthusiastic individual to join our team full time as a Vehicle Preparation Washer/Valeter at our site in Sawley.

  • Experience - cleaning, 1 year (Preferred)
  • Licence - driving license (Required)
  • As a vehicle Washer/Valeter your main role is to prepare vehicles for sale. Including washing, valeting cab interiors, removing vehicle livery and carry out minor repairs
  • Moving vehicles around the premises
  • Ideally have some experience in a similar role
  • Full driver’s license
  • Overalls and boots supplied

Qualifications

  • Experience - cleaning, 1 year (Preferred)
  • Licence - driving license (Required)

Shift Pattern:

  • Shift 1: 9am - 6pm (Mon to Fri) + 8am - 1pm (Sat)
  • Shift 2: 8am - 5pm (Mon to Thurs) + 8am to 1pm (Fri)
  • Overtime is available outside of these hours if desired

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £10.00 per hour and £15.00 per hour for overtime
